January 1, 2023
Change. It's exciting. It's scary. It's inevitable. We love change when a child is born, when an engagement is announced. It can be intimidating when we leave home as a brand-new adult to make our own way in this world, or when we have to start over. No matter the reason or circumstance, change will always happen. It is the only constant.
There has been significant change in the world over the last 3 years or so, and there has been significant change for me personally, as well. These shifts have led me to a decision that was at once difficult and simple. It is time to close the needlework-shop-owner chapter of my life and move forward into the next chapter. Owning a cross-stitch shop has been my dream for as long as I can remember, and I really never thought I would say goodbye to it, but the Lord had other plans for me, it seems. While the reality of being a shop-owner has been much different than expected, it has nonetheless been an amazing experience. I have learned a great deal about being a business owner and, more importantly to me, I have gained cherished friends. I thank you all for your patronage and your friendship. You have blessed me more than I can say.
Now to the business at hand. Our last day of business will be March 31, 2023. We will announce discounts on our Facebook page between now and then. PLEASE REMEMBER: I have a full-time job elsewhere, and this is a one-woman shop (except for the times when my always-on-the-go mom 💜 is able to help me out, God bless her!). This means that orders will be pulled as soon as possible but there may be delays between placing your order and receiving your invoice. As usual, invoices will not be sent until the order is verified and we're sure we have your items in stock. We will do our best to get items off the website when we are out of stock, but again, there may be delays. We greatly appreciate your patience with this process and with us, and thank you in advance.
Our first sale will be announced soon, so keep an eye on our Facebook page for the details. In the meantime, here's to a peaceful, prosperous, and blessed 2023 for all of us.
|Aug. '22 - You may have noticed a slight change during checkout - due to changes made by our payment processor that weren't compatible with our site, we've had to remove the online payment function. You will still submit your order as always and I'll still get the notification the same way. The difference is that you won't enter your payment information online. When I get the order, I'll invoice you and you'll pay from the invoice. I'm sorry for the additional step, but technology - what can you do? ;)|
